Puur Natuur Hypersex - 50 ml
Description: Puur Natuur Hypersex is a supplemental animal nutrition for cats, dogs and rodents that can be used to treat impaired sexual drive and hypersexual behavior in male animals. It may also help support prostate function.
Composition:
- Extracts from hops (Humulus lupulus)
- Milk thistle (Carduus marianus)
- Monk pepper (Agnus castus)
- Diluted extract of real marjoram (Origanum majorana)
- Alcohol (35% v/v)
Indication(s):
- To reduce excessive sex drive and hypersexual behavior in male animals.
- To support prostate function.
Ingredient properties:
- Hops (Humulus lupulus) contain flavonoids, tannins, phenolic acids and estrogenic components. Hops act as an anaphrodisiac, meaning it can inhibit sex drive.
- Milk thistle (Carduus marianus) has a positive effect on liver function. In Chinese medicine, genitals and accompanying emotions are believed to be related to liver energy. The excitement of males around females in heat or feeders can be influenced by liver energy.
- Chasteberry (Agnus castus) was traditionally used by monks to reduce their sex drive. Chasteberry contains antioxidants and flavonoids.
- Marjoram (Origanum majorana) is used to increase sex drive and to support prostate function.
Dosage and application: Unless otherwise prescribed by the veterinarian, 1-2 times daily:
- Dog: 5-10 drops
- Cat: 3-5 drops
- Rabbit: 3-5 drops
The dosage can be given directly into the animal's mouth or with a little water using a plastic spoon or syringe. If necessary, the drops can be dripped onto something tasty. Administration should take place at least half an hour before or after feeding so that the drops can be absorbed into the clean oral mucosa.
The recommended treatment duration is 3-6 weeks. If there is no improvement after about 3 days to a week, the dose can be doubled. Puur Natuur Hypersex can be used safely in combination with other medicines.
Instructions for use:
- If prostate problems are suspected, a veterinarian should be consulted. Symptoms may include drops of blood from the penis and excessive straining during bowel movements.
- Contact with females in heat should be avoided as much as possible.
Duration of treatment:
- In acute situations, the duration of treatment is relatively short, usually between a few days and 3 weeks. If improvement occurs, administration should be continued for a few days.
- If symptoms persist, it usually takes 1 to 3 weeks to see an effect. In this case, the dosage can be reduced to a maintenance dose, which is usually half the recommended dosage. It is advisable to observe the animal's reaction and adjust the dosage as necessary.
Storage: The product should be stored in a dry place at a temperature between 5-20°C and protected from direct sunlight. Keep it out of the reach of children. The best before date is stated on the label and packaging.
Synergy and Combinations with Other Products: This product can be safely used in combination with other natural health products and conventional medications. For example, it can be combined with ProstAid from Phytonics.
Contraindications: There are no specific contraindications for this product.
Side effects: There are no known or reported side effects from this product to date. However, note that there may be a short-term worsening of symptoms when starting treatment, which may indicate that the animal is reacting to the product. In this case, the dosage may be reduced or temporarily suspended before gradually increasing again.
