Description: Puur Utero is a supplementary feed suitable for cats, dogs, rodents, horses, ponies and birds. It is designed to keep the uterus clean, especially after birth or during heat. It can also be used to normalize sexual function in female dogs that do not want to be mated. This product contains extracts of medicinal plants such as chaste tree, red sunflower, cress silverwort and lady's mantle.

Composition:

• Chaste tree (Agnus castus) extracts
• Red sunflower (Echinacea purpurea) extracts
• Diluted extracts of silver cheese from the vine (Cimicifuga racemosa)
• Diluted extracts of lady's mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris)
• Alcohol 35% v/v

Indications: Puur Utero is designed to keep the uterus clean, especially after birth or during heat. It can also be used for contractions or impurities. In addition, it is helpful for normalizing sexual function in bitches who do not want to be mated.

Ingredient properties:

• Chaste tree (Agnus castus): Agnus castus, also known as Monnikspeper or chaste tree, contains antioxidants and flavonoids and contributes to hormonal balance. This property makes it versatile for use with bitches and mares. Agnus castus helps with irritability and mood swings during the cycle.
• Red sunflower (Echinacea purpurea): Echinacea purpurea is an immune stimulant and helps increase the immune system.
• Cress silverwort (Cimicifuga racemosa): A diluted extract of Cimicifuga racemosa is mainly used when estrus cycles are too long.
• Lady's Mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris): Lady's Mantle contains a high tannin content (6-8%), which is responsible for its astringent effect. This makes Alchemilla a suitable uterine tonic.

Dosage and use: The recommended dosage depends on the weight of the animal and can be administered 1-4 times daily. Here are the dosage recommendations:

• Horse: 20-30 drops
• Dog: 10-15 drops
• Cat: 5-10 drops

20 drops correspond to approximately 1 ml. If it is difficult to administer the product several times a day, it can also be administered once a day or every two days, in which case the maximum dose is given for a day.

Administration: The product can be administered directly into the animal's mouth using a plastic syringe, possibly diluted with a little water. It is recommended that it is preferably not administered at the same time as a meal, as it is best absorbed by the clean oral mucosa. If the animal does not like the product, the drops can be added to a small piece of food. For cats who do not like the drops, the alcohol can be evaporated from the product and the drops can be given diluted with water or milk. The drops can also be applied to the animal's paw, provided the cat licks them off.

Directions for use: Puur Utero is given when uterine contractions and expulsion of uterine contents are desired, such as during childbirth. It can be administered three times at intervals of one hour during birth to accompany and promote birth. After birth, it is recommended to administer Puur Utero for three days to stimulate the cleansing of the uterus.

Duration of treatment: The duration of treatment depends on the type of complaint. In acute cases it can vary between a few days and 3 weeks. If symptoms persist, the effect usually becomes apparent after 1 to 3 weeks. In this case, you can switch to a maintenance dose, which is usually half the dosage stated on the packaging. The dosage can be gradually reduced.

The product can be administered permanently. However, it is advisable to take a week's break every 6 to 8 weeks and then resume treatment to maintain the effect.
