Description: Puur Natuur Pseudopregnancy is a supplementary food specially developed for cats, dogs and rodents to support hormonal balance during and after heat. Pseudopregnancy is a phenomenon in which animals, especially female dogs, may exhibit behavioral changes and physical discomfort after heat. This product is aimed at regulating mood and relieving the symptoms of false pregnancy.
Composition: The drops contain extracts of sage (Salvia officinalis) and oats (Avena sativa) as well as diluted extract of devil's weed (Asa foetida). The tincture has an alcohol content of 29% v/v.
Indications: Puur Natuur Pseudopregnancy can be used to promote healthy hormonal balance in bitches and to prevent various types of pseudopregnancy. During heat and false pregnancy, bitches may exhibit behavioral changes and symptoms caused by hormonal changes. This product aims to alleviate these symptoms and improve the animal's well-being.
Properties per ingredient:
- Sage (Salvia officinalis): Reduces mammary gland swelling.
- Oats (Avena sativa): Has a calming effect on inner restlessness.
- Devil's weed (Asa foetida): Has calming properties and can help with mood swings.
Dosage and application: Unless otherwise prescribed, the recommended dosage is as follows:
- Dog: 10-15 drops, 3 times daily
- Rabbit: 3-5 drops, 3 times daily
1 ml corresponds to 20 drops. The drops can be placed directly into the animal's mouth or mixed with a little water. If necessary, they can be drizzled on a tasty treat.
Application should be at least half an hour before or after feeding to ensure optimal absorption.
The duration of treatment can vary depending on your needs. In acute situations it can range from a few days to 3 weeks. In the case of long-term symptoms, an effect usually becomes apparent after 1 to 3 weeks. After improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose, which is usually half the recommended dose.
It is advisable to suspend the product for a week every 6 to 8 weeks to check the animal's response to the treatment.
Storage: The drops should be protected from direct sunlight and stored in a dry place at temperatures between 5-20°C. Keep the product out of the reach of children.
