Description: Puur Natuur Spondy is a supplementary feed suitable for cats, dogs, rodents, horses, ponies and birds. It is designed to support the hindquarters, promote back health and enable smooth movement. This product contains a combination of natural ingredients including turmeric, devil's claw, cat's mustache and frankincense.

Composition:

• Curcuma longa (turmeric)
• Harpagophytum procumbens (devil's claw)
• Orthosiphon staminus (cat's moustache)
• Solidago virgaurea (Goldenrod)
• Alcohol 44%

Ingredient properties:

• Turmeric (Curcuma longa): Turmeric is recommended for healthy hindquarters and helps maintain healthy cells and tissues. It offers relief from discomfort.
• Goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea): Goldenrod is good for the back and urinary tract. It supports the excretion of waste products and helps with detoxification.
• Frankincense (Boswellia): Frankincense stimulates the body's natural defense system and provides relief.
• Devil's Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens): Devil's Claw is particularly useful for the hindquarters and provides relief. It promotes smooth movements and easy getting up from the basket.
• Cat mustache (Orthosiphon stamineus): The cat mustache is good for (hip) joints.

Dosage and use: The recommended dosage depends on the species and the weight of the animal. The optimal dosage is 1-2 times a day:

• Dog: 10-15 drops
• Cat: 5-10 drops

20 drops correspond to approximately 1 ml. If it is difficult to administer the product several times a day, it can also be given once a day or every two days, in which case the maximum dose is administered for one day.

Administration: The product can be administered directly into the animal's mouth using a plastic syringe, diluted if necessary with a little water. It is preferred not to be administered at the same time as a meal as it is best absorbed by the clean oral mucosa. If the animal cannot tolerate the product, the drops can be added to a small piece of food. For cats who do not like the drops, the alcohol can be evaporated from the product and the drops can be diluted with water or milk and placed directly in the mouth. The drops can also be applied to the top of the paw, provided the cat licks them off.

Instructions for use: Observe the animal's reaction and allow it to move. If the movements are stiff, it is advisable to take the animal for a walk often. Straight movements, walking and trotting are good for keeping the joints supple. Stopping abruptly, jumping and turning quickly should be avoided as this can put too much strain on the joints.

Duration of treatment: The duration of treatment may vary depending on the situation. In acute cases it can last between a few days and 3 weeks. If improvement occurs, it is recommended to continue administration for a few days. If the symptoms persist for a long time, the effect usually becomes apparent after 1 to 3 weeks. In this case, you can switch to a maintenance dose, which is usually half the dosage stated on the packaging.

The product can be administered permanently. However, it is advisable to take a week's break every 6 to 8 weeks and then resume treatment to maintain the effect.

Storage: The product should be protected from direct sunlight and stored in a dry place at temperatures between 5-20°C. It should be kept out of the reach of children. The expiry date is indicated on the label and packaging.

Synergy and combinations with other products: Puur Natuur Spondy can be safely used in combination with other natural health products and regular medications, such as painkillers. Contraindications: Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should always be done in consultation with the treating veterinarian.

Side effects: There are no known or reported side effects from this product to date. Some dilutions and extracts may cause short-term worsening at the start of treatment. This indicates that the animal is responding to the product. If the deterioration is severe, the dosage should be halved or temporarily suspended before gradually increasing again.
