Some dogs have an intolerance or allergy to grains. Three quarters of the protein from grains is made up of gluten. Gluten contains the protein gliadin. Gliadins cause problems such as allergies in dogs. All grains contain gluten, but only the gluten from wheat, barley and rye contains gliadin. Seeds of oats, millet, rice, corn, sorghum and teff are also more or less contained in the grains. However, these do not cause allergies because gluten does not contain the protein gliadin. The so-called pseudograins (false grains) such as quinoa, amaranth and buckwheat are also gluten-free. Renske Fresh Lamb Grain Free is a complete food for dogs.

This product is GRAPE-FREE and therefore gluten-free. All of our products are gluten-free and some dry foods are also grain-free.

The tender lamb in this grain-free product is freshly steamed and sealed. We do this for durability. The process is similar to the way human food was historically preserved in mason jars.
This way the product has a longer shelf life without compromising the safety and quality of the fresh lamb.
The seal (transparent film layer) is done by vacuum, which minimizes the amount of oxygen in the tub. This limited exposure to oxygen also helps maintain product quality over the long term.
All of our ingredients are suitable for human consumption.

Freshly steamed lamb (80%), sweet potatoes (4%), peas (1%), carrots (1%), minerals, dried seaweed (0.45%), parsley, rosemary, chicory root extract (as a source of prebiotic fructo -Oligosaccharides), glucosamine (0.05%), chondroitin (0.05%), yucca extract.
