Puur Probiotic Dog & Cat - Pure Probiotics
Description: Puur Probiotic Dog & Cat is a special probiotic developed as a supplementary food for dogs and cats. It contains good intestinal bacteria that help reduce acidity in the gastrointestinal tract and improve food digestion through the production of enzymes. Probiotics also produce short-chain fatty acids, which are important nutrients for intestinal cells. A healthy state of intestinal cells is crucial to prevent unwanted microorganisms from entering the bloodstream. This contributes to healthy intestinal flora.
Characteristics:

Suitable for (indications):

Administration: For optimal effect, Puur Probiotic powder should be dissolved in a small amount of lukewarm water and left to stand for 15 to 30 minutes. It can then be poured over the food. If the powder is administered loose, it should be moistened to prevent blowing out of the bowl. The product should be stored in a dry place at a temperature between 5 and 20°C, protected from direct sunlight and kept out of the reach of children.
Dosage: The dosage depends on the weight of the animal. For the first week, the recommended dosage is given twice daily, and thereafter the dose is reduced to once daily. The recommended dosage for dogs and cats is as follows:
- Less than 10kg: 0.5 grams
- 10 to 25 kg: 1 gram
- 25 to 80 kg: 1.5 grams
- Over 80kg: 2.5 grams
The measuring spoon in Puur Probiotic contains about 0.5 grams. It is important not to exceed the recommended dosage.
Not for use in (contraindications): During pregnancy and lactation, Puur Probiotic Dog & Cat should always be used in consultation with the treating veterinarian.
Contents: The product contains 50 grams.
Composition: The composition of Puur Probiotic consists of maltodextrin, corn starch, Fructo Oligo Saccharide (FOS) and bacterial cultures including Bifidobacterium lactis, Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus salivarius and Lactococcus lactis. When manufactured, 1 gram of Puur Probiotic contains 1.0 billion CFU (colony forming units).
Note: The composition of Puur Probiotic for dogs/cats and horses is identical, but the pack size is larger because the daily dose for a horse is higher. If you use the product regularly, you can also choose the larger pack (150g) for your dog or cat.
